Process

This is our process:

I. Schedule an appointment.

First, review the website to ensure I am the right photographer for you (review my portfolio to make sure my style matches what you want, familiarize yourself with the process and costs so you understand what to expect).  Then, select "Book a Session" and follow the prompts.  You will be asked to pay a non-refundable retainer to hold you session.  You will also be sent a contract to read and sign.

II. Follow our prep guide.

Study the prep guide but don't let it overwhelm you!  I try to provide as much information as possible for those clients who want to use this session as an excuse to pamper themselves a little extra (not that we really need to have an excuse because we're always worthy of a little self care!)  I also provide the timeline in the prep guide for those who would like to know how to time things like haircuts or manicures that they may already do routinely.  If you are easily overwhelmed or if the cost of some of the steps listed is too much, DON'T STRESS!  Just use it as a basic guide- the steps for the last day before the session are the most important.

III. Show up for the session.

This step may seem obvious, but lots of people get last minute jitters.  It's totally normal to want to cancel at the last minute!  I am the queen of anxiety and I totally get it.  That is why we book plenty of time into each session so we can sit down and talk beforehand.  You will also have plenty of time to look through the client wardrobe and select any outfits or accessories for your shoot.

IV. Select your artwork.

We will schedule your reveal session to be about 2 weeks after your photo session.  At the reveal session, we will look through all of your edited images and you will be able to select which ones you would like to have made into artwork.  Once the selections are complete, I will send you a final invoice and order your artwork, which typically arrives within a week.  Invoice can be splint into payments, but be aware that payment must be received in full before artwork can be picked up.
